Heya! I'm Lawrence Xu, a software engineer. I specialize in Back End Development and DevOps. I am currently based in the Netherlands, but have previously studied and worked in the United States. I have great experience in Java development with Spring Boot and containzeration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as configuring CI/CD workflows with both Github Actions & Gitlab CI/CD. I continue to learn and explore these tools, as I love the intersection between software and infrastructure - where systems among developers & users are reliable, fluid, and powerful.
Among other things, I enjoy topics like video game development, movies, screenwriting, working out, fighting games, system emulations and occasionally an entire pepperoni pizza 🥸
